Bio

Tatiana Dvorianskaya has more than 30 years of experience as a piano teacher. After 12 years of studying music and performance in Russia, she graduated with a specialization in piano and accompaniment. In 2010, Tatiana moved to Canada and continued teaching piano.

Ms. Dvorianskaya has performed as both a soloist and accompanist in concerts in Quebec, Europe, Russia, and Chile. She has also performed as an accompanist at various international festivals and competitions with the Harmonie ensemble, featuring soloists from the Mariinsky Theatre and the St. Petersburg Opera.

Since 2013, Tatiana has collaborated with Canadian-Chilean pianist Alejandra Cifuentes Díaz, with whom she produced their first piano four-hands album in 2014. Always eager to further her professional development, Tatiana completed a graduate-level program in Instrumental Pedagogy at the Université de Montréal in 2017.

Ms. Dvorianskaya is affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and the Vincent-d’Indy School of Music (EMVI)

She joined the teaching faculty at the Coopérative des professeurs de musique de Montréal and Long & McQuade, where she teaches students of all ages and levels. She also works as an independent piano teacher in Montreal, in a vibrant neighbourhood between downtown and the McGill University campus.

She believes that every student is unique and talented. Her goal is to discover and nurture each student's talent by developing their ability to think independently and take ownership of their learning, ultimately helping them achieve success in musical performance.
