Jarred Dunn is a distinguished pianist and educator, currently on the faculty of McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. He has performed worldwide as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician, and has appeared as a concerto soloist with numerous orchestras. He holds a Doctor of Music from McGill University, as well as degrees from the University of Toronto and the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, and has completed advanced studies at Aspen Music Festival and School, The Juilliard School, and other prestigious institutions.
Noted as “a revered pedagogue,” Mr. Dunn has given lectures, workshops, and master classes at leading institutions including The Juilliard School, Royal College of Music (London), Southern Methodist University, McGill University, Queen’s University, and many others. He is also an Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music and has published articles in the Canadian Music Educators’ Journal, Piano Magazine, and Canadian Music Teacher.
His teaching is informed by a broad range of piano traditions and interpretations, developed through studies with renowned pianists including Dmitry Alexeev, Robert Levin, Yoheved Kaplinsky, and Maria João-Pires, among others. His pedagogical expertise and global performance experience allow him to mentor students at all levels, from developing pianists to advanced performers.

Jarred Dunn est un pianiste et pédagogue de renom, actuellement membre du corps professoral de la Schulich School of Music de l’Université McGill. Il s’est produit mondialement en tant que soliste, chambriste et concertiste avec orchestre, et détient un doctorat en musique de McGill ainsi que des diplômes de l’Université de Toronto et de l’Académie de musique Karol Szymanowski de Katowice. Il a également poursuivi des études avancées à l’Aspen Music Festival and School et à la Juilliard School.
Reconnu comme « un pédagogue respecté », M.
