Née à Montréal de parents chiliens, Alejandra Cifuentes Diaz découvre le piano à l’âge de six ans et en fait très tôt un véritable langage d’expression. Depuis, elle façonne un univers musical où profondeur, sensibilité et authenticité se rencontrent. Formée au Collège Vincent-d’Indy, elle obtient un Baccalauréat et une Maîtrise en interprétation à l’Université de Montréal sous la direction du grand pianiste Dang Thai Son, avant de poursuivre son art au prestigieux Conservatoire de Moscou. Ce parcours d’excellence nourrit un jeu à la fois rigoureux et profondément habité.
De 2011 à 2023, elle est pianiste officielle des Concerts sous les Chandelles, où son interprétation raffinée et la richesse de ses couleurs sonores marquent durablement le public. Invitée à se produire au Canada, en Russie, au Chili et en Algérie, elle partage sa passion sur des scènes variées, toujours avec le désir de créer un véritable moment de rencontre. En concert, elle se produit en solo et à quatre mains avec la pianiste Tatiana Dvorianskaya.
Elle anime également des ateliers sur l’interprétation et la gestion du stress, convaincue que la maîtrise artistique passe autant par l’équilibre intérieur que par la technique.
Pédagogue reconnue, elle enseigne le piano à Montréal depuis plus de 25 ans et est professeure affiliée à l’École de musique Vincent-d’Indy.
Évaluatrice aux examens et juge dans divers concours, elle accompagne chaque élève avec exigence, bienveillance et une profonde conviction : la musique est un chemin de transformation et de partage.

Born in Montreal to Chilean parents, Alejandra Cifuentes Diaz discovered the piano at the age of six and very early on made it her primary means of expression. Since then, she has crafted a musical world where depth, sensitivity, and authenticity come together.
Trained at Collège Vincent-d’Indy, she earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in performance at the University of Montreal under the guidance of the great pianist Dang Thai Son, before perfecting her art at the prestigious Moscow Conservatory. This path of excellence has nurtured a style of playing that is both rigorous and deeply soulful.
From 2011 to 2023, she served as the official pianist for Concerts sous les Chandelles, where her refined interpretation and rich tonal palette left a lasting impression on audiences. Invited to perform in Canada, Russia, Chile, and Algeria, she shares her passion on diverse stages, always with the desire to create a genuine moment ofconnection.
In concert, she performs both as a soloist and in four-hand duets with pianist Tatiana Dvorianskaya. She also leads workshops on interpretation and stress management, convinced that artistic mastery depends as much on inner balance as on technique.
A recognized educator, she has been teaching piano in Montreal for over 25 years and is an adjunct professor at the École de musique Vincent-d’Indy. As an exam evaluator and judge in various competitions, she guides each student with high standards, kindness, and a deep conviction: music is a path of transformation and sharing.
