Simeonova

Marina Simeonova is a passionate piano educator with extensive international experience. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Montreal, and has also studied at Boston University and The Royal Conservatory – Glenn Gould School in Toronto. Her approach combines years of formal training with in-depth research into the psychological and physical aspects of piano performance, fostering both technical mastery and artistic expression. She has maintained thriving private studios, served as Music Director at Bethany Baptist Church in Toronto, and was invited as the youngest faculty member at the Beauliere Academy of Music in Haiti.

Founder of The Sunny Academy, an arts hub encouraging creativity and self-expression in youth, and the festival “4x2: The World in Four Hands,” Marina emphasizes chamber music, contemporary repertoire, and inclusive programming that supports young talents from diverse backgrounds. Alongside her teaching, she continues to perform internationally, championing works by living composers and promoting socially-engaged music experiences.
