    Bronwyn Schuman is an active music teacher of beginner to advanced students aged from 4—74 years old! Bronwyn is a recent graduate from The Juilliard School in New York City with her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano. At Juilliard, her primary teacher was Lydia Brown; she also studied with Jonathan Feldman, Brian Zeger, Diane Richardson, JJ Penna, Cameron Stowe, and Gina Levinson. A two-time winner of Juilliard’s Honors Recital, Bronwyn has recently performed in Alice Tully Hall at The Lincoln Center, in WQXR’s The Greene Space, and in regular performances for Juilliard’s Liederabend and Sonatenabend series.

    Before attending The Juilliard School, Bronwyn graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018 with a BMus in Piano under Edwin Gnandt and a BA in English Literature from Ambrose University in her hometown, Calgary, Canada. Bronwyn has attended several music festivals, such as SongFest (Los Angeles), Toronto Summer Music (Canada), Charles Foreman's and Kathleen van Mourik's Mountain View International Festival of Song and Chamber Music (Calgary, Canada), and the Franz Schubert Institute (Austria). Bronwyn has also held Opera Coach and Repetiteur fellowships at the Atlantic Music Festival (Maine) and Aquilon Music Festival (Oregon). At these festivals, she has participated in coachings and masterclasses with renowned pianists and teachers such as Graham Johnson, Margo Garrett, Warren Jones, Rudolf Jansen, Roger Vignoles, Wolfram Rieger, Julius Drake, Helmut Deutsch, Malcolm Martineau, Alan L. Smith, Kevin Murphy, and Michael McMahon, among others.

    Other areas of Bronwyn’s musical career include a decade of teaching experience with individual students and with group classes; academic presentations; published journal articles; experience leading and conducting choirs and small ensembles; and experience in editing, administration, and publishing through Canada’s Palliser Music Publishing. She is also an editor and proofreader of written works, as well as an English tutor. Having recently moved, Bronwyn is currently in Montreal, Canada, where she is a doctoral candidate in Collaborative Piano at McGill University.

    Bronwyn also offers teaching for visually impaired.
